How can schools or community groups get involved with STEMNETICS?

They can reach out to us at http://www.stemnetics.org/contact or send us an email at info@stemnetics.org expressing your interest. We provide the following services: in-school programming, after school programming, special event workshops and teacher professional development.

What grade levels does STEMNETICS serve?

We predominantly work with K-8 grade students.

How long are the classes?

Our classes are usually 45 minutes to 2 hours

Will STEMNETICS bring instructors?

Yes, we provide our STEM instructors for each of our programs. We target a student to teacher ratio of 10:1.

Does STEMNETICS bring materials? What is required from the school/organization?

Yes, we provide all the materials for each of the projects students will work on. All we require from the partner school/organization is a room, table and chairs where students can work collaboratively.

Do students need prior knowledge to build projects?

No, we are able to work with students who are being introduced to STEM to students who are advanced with their STEM learning. Our instructors will benchmark all students to get a sense of their aptitude to the topics being taught.

Can schools/organizations pick the type of projects?

Depending on the engagement we willeither suggest suitable projects or we will work with the school/organization to select projects aligned with the curriculum. Each client has different needs and objectives so we ask that you reach out to us if there are particular projects/topics you are hoping to address.
